Class One Traffic Management has a wide range of traffic barriers and separators that can be hired or purchased for use in roadworks, road closures, diversions and street works or at street parties and events.
Chapter 8 Traffic Barriers
To comply with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) pedestrians must be separated from your works area or excavation. Class One Traffic Management can provide the traffic barrier systems you need to help you comply with these regulations.
MASS Barriers
Multi Application Safety System (MASS) barriers are manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel, and are coated in red and white for high visibility and to give more durability. MASS barriers are ideal for deployment across roads, pathways and highways, and provide roll-on-roll-off stability. This means that should the unexpected happen and a vehicle collides with the barrier, the vehicle will remain on its side of the barrier, protecting pedestrians or workers on the other side of the barrier.
Traffic Separators
Each traffic separator is 1m in length and can be connected using a lug and socket system. These red and white separators can be easily stacked when not in use. In addition, they can be filled with water, sand or other suitable granular materials when needed for longer-term works.
